Birchbrook Brewing: Label Design

I have always been inspired by and drawn to the design process behind craft beer can labels. I admire the flexibility that this canvas provides, and the eccentric names of many of these drinks can provide some amazing visual inspiration.

I always wanted to design some labels myself, so this project was my answer: I created an imaginary brewery call Birchbrook Brewing Company. This brewery (like myself) is based in New England, and inspired by the culture, nature and energy of the seasons in New England.

I aimed to match each can's design to not only the title, but also to match the beer to the style of beer each can represents. Each design was created using various elements, including hand-drawn assets, sourced material from vintage books, and digital elements created in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
